Aug. 3 - Some New Artwork
Its time to end nick's tyrannical domination of this website. I've been doing a lot of drawings lately, i have had to buy 2 new sketch books in the last month, but my scanner is buried under 2 old bicycles at the moment (more on that later)so getting them on my computer is a bit of a pain, but a tetanus shot later and i have 2 new drawings for you. i was trying to do these 2 drawings in the same style but one was done on paper with ink and the other was done on the computer with alias sketchbook pro.
I'm not entirely happy with this, but it serves as a nice counterpoint. the drawing isn't that great but the ink has a lot more character than the following digital image.
it lacks some of the character of the ink and it takes a fair bit longer but I like it more.
Monday or Tuesday I will post a few more drawings, probably a drawing that i turned into a painting and also did in digital. I'm going to hold off on any sort of otakon post until after next weekend when i am going to check out Ikasucon, The first anime con to call Fort Wayne home. expect a comparison between big con and tiny con.
