Jan. 23 - Advanced Drawing Spring '08, AKA I Ain't Dead.
I am, as I type this, sitting in drawing class listening to the finest techno known to man, and i thought I would show you what I am working on this semester.
These are in some particular order, but i need to fill in a few blanks and these are all near the end of a narrative series.
I made this short video for my Visual Communication class last semester. It's about a dancer who finds her routine interrupted by two thugs with thievery on their minds and an affinity for Irish sports equipment. It's just under five minutes, so you should watch it and let me know what you think.
Max Payne
It takes the coolest thing about The Matrix and does it better. Also, I like the cheesy film-noir comic book interludes. The sequel can be included here, too.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Perfectly executed classic shooter with WWII (i.e. Nazi-killing) flava!
Neverwinter Nights 2
Great characters and the familiar D&D v. 3.5 rules. You also get to run your own keep. Decisions you make actually impact the game.
Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
The most fun you can have with a lightsaber.
Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
The final and best entry in the series. I like its unique features better than any of the other games'.
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic
D&D + lightsabers = delightful, dorky fun. When I finished for the first time as a light side character I immediately started a new game for a dark sider.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl
Basically Fallout re-imagined as a sandbox shooter.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
A fun and well-produced action RPG.
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Fun, pretty, and just deep enough for my tastes, I've spent many hours with this game. There's also some nostalgia factor since this game was given to me along with my SP by a few of my cool friends.
So there you have it: my highly qualified Top 25 Games of Right Now. I guess that's all I have to say.
